Biography of Prof. Edin Glogić, PhD — From the bookkeeping
ledger to the lectern.

Edin Glogić holds a doctorate in economic sciences and is an associate professor in the scientific field of accounting and auditing. He is Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of FINRA University Tuzla.

At the first cycle he teaches the fundamentals of accounting, financial accounting and reporting, financial statement analysis, the application of management accounting, and forensic accounting and financial fraud. At the second cycle he teaches accounting, financial reporting and auditing, management accounting and controlling. At the Faculty of Business Economics of VITEZ University he teaches the audit of financial statements, management accounting and, in the master's programme, forensic accounting.

His academic work is matched by extensive practical experience: external and internal audit, information systems audit, court expert opinions, business analysis, due diligence and transfer pricing. He is a certified auditor at UHY Revident, board adviser for accounting and controlling at Adriatic Group GmbH in Vienna, and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Banovići Brown Coal Mine (RMU “Banovići”). He is the founder and director of FinTech d.o.o.

He chairs the Continuing Professional Development Committee of the Association of Accountants, Auditors and Financial Professionals of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) and, since 2010, has been an active lecturer in the education of accountants, auditors and internal auditors. He is editor-in-chief of the scientific journal Forensic Accounting Research (Forenzičko računovodstvena istraživanja).
